West Java people are already familiar with the song 'Bubuy Bulan'. Bubuy Bulan is a traditional West Javanese song written by Benny Korda.

It is unclear since when this song was sung, but Bubuy Bulan often accompanies the people of West Java when holding various ceremonies, such as circumcisions or weddings.

This song tells about the sadness of someone left by a lover. The sadness gets worse when someone sees someone who passes by every morning and sees the look in his eyes remembered by a lover who once left him.
